The life at the Women's Dorm (fr. Foyer)  at Balamand is built on close, family type relationships. It is a place where students experience joy and peace while studying   at the University.

The building itself contains 18 beds. There are some single rooms and some double rooms. The cost per semester for a double room is 850,000 Lebanese Pound for each person in the room. This does not include food, but just lodging. Students may bring and cook their own food. The Dorm has a large kitchen, a washer and a dryer. In addition, every person is responsible for cleaning her own room, except the common areas which are cleaned regularly by the Dorm caretakers.

There are some regulations for the students living in the Dorm. For example, the doors of the Dorm are shut every night at 10:30 PM. No men are allowed to visit at any time, with the exception of the father or brother (i.e. the family) of the resident. Also, the visitors may only enter the Living Room.

The Dorm is supervised by a women responsible for its organization, activities, and problems. Many activities are organized during the year for the prupose of fellowship and friendship among the residents.
